After a hectic day at the office. I hit up the gym at 5:30 and did legs. Made my way straight to band practice after that. It went ok. We all headed over to Logan's for some food around 8:45.
Kevin and I got there first, so naturally, I let Kailyn hold my finger as we walked into the restaurant. Immediately after entering and walking over to the giant barrell of peanuts by the hostess stand, Jennifer came running down from the bar area and asked, "Oh she's so cute! Is she yours?"
Now I must say, there was a brief pause as I contemplated saying, "Yep she's mine".
Alas, I gave the 'wrong' answer and said, "No she's his" and pointed at Kevin who was looking the other way. LOL SHe was like, "Ah ok.. I should have figured, she's too cute to be yours"
WTF does that mean? See if Jeff and I ever sit with you again.
It's Brandie exclusively from now on.
I would have done better with, "Oh, I should have known... she doesn't look Asian."
Dinner was good, except for the fact that some of our orders came out jacked up... ok... my order came out jacked up. It was ice cold. I was like, "Excuse me, but my steak is cold, like it just came out of the 'fridge".
This resulted in a free meal for me, and free desserts for EVERYONE at the table. Wow. That was nice of them. Dude was like, "Ya'll come in here all the time, we'll take care of you." So I guess that makes up for it.
Anyways, I gotta get in the bed. Tomorrow is Thursday!
