I'm not sure why we're trying to go to Mars, when it would be much more fun to go to the sun.
What's even better is, I found the secret path that leads straight into the heart of the sun... it's whatever road that is that goes West at Exit 46 in Tennessee on I-65. I made a pit stop at Burger King there near Columbia and when I was trying to get back on the road, pulling out of the parking lot... I looked to my left and the sun was dead center on the road. I couldn't see ANYTHING. At which I point I uttered , "Well I hope nothing is coming because I sure as &%$# can't see it. Oh well " at which point I just pulled out.
I'm just now getting in from working on packaging some DVD's for shipment here in a few hours.
TIME TRAVEL
On my way back tonight, I was listening to Coast to Coast AM and there was a guy on there talking about time travel. The things that struck me as being really interesting was, supposedly an individual (John Titor) from the year 2035 was here from like 1999-2001 and had apparently been in online forums, sharing some information about future events.
What is freaky is, we all know that stuff on the web is 'time stamped' and the things he predicted 4 years ago with fairly good detail are all occuring right now.
Most interesting, in order I can recall them :
(1) Abolishment of the IRS... this was proposed last week In 2035 taxes aren't paid to any single entity, but rather collected at point of sale.
(2) Mad cow disease ... said it would be more dangerous than we were all lead to believe ... report came out last week.. the danger is quite severe
(3) John claimed to have travelled via blackholes and some temporal flux that is induced by their gravitation fields....John's reports were given to Stephen Hawking... we all know that a few weeks ago Stephen Hawking announced he was changing his theory on how black holes function.
(4) In 1985 IBM made one of the first personal computers. It had advanced technology which allowed it to translate between multiple computers and multiple language formats. These features were never made public... after confering with IBM engineers, this claim was validated as fact.
(5) "There were no more Olympics after 2004"... This one is up in the air. It is unclear whether he meant 2004 games don't happen.. or there is no 2006 or 2008 games.
(6) Our civil liberties were taken away before our eyes and no one did anything about it..... in 2004 many believe the Patriot Act is the first step in this process
(7) A nuclear war breaks out in 2008.
(8) CERN would make an announcement in 2004 that would lead to the kind of advanced technology that allowed him to travel back in time..... indeed CERN has recently made several ground shattering discoveries in terms of computers and particle Physics most noteably the behaviour of anti-matter particles....
Like I said earlier, all these comments were posted around 2000.... 4 years ago.
Sure it's easy to discount time travel with the current technology we have to day... but who is to say what will be possible in the next 30 years?
