What is this stain on my pants?

What a fantastic day this has started out to be.

Tag calls me at 6:25 AM as I am leaving for work because he needs the wireless mic for a church thing tonight. No biggie, I figure I’ll run by his place and drop it off and will only be a few minutes late to work.

Well I drop it off and get on my way, and ½ way to the office I realize I don’t have my badges because they are in my other car which I drove yesterday, so I have to turn around and go home and get them. I called my boss to let him know I’d be late…. Really late. LOL

After picking up my badges I went over to the bank and got some money, ran by Chic-Fil-A to get a chicken biscuit and large sweet tea, and then hit up the main post office in historic Decatur to check our box. Around this time I noticed there is a black stain on my pants by my right front pant pocket that is about the size of a dime. It is a grease stain. Apparently must’ve gotten when I opened the door to my other car to get my badges out of it. (The garage was cramped on that side so I brushed up against it)

As I was leaving, I took a scenic tour through old Decatur and saw this tree which had absolutely split in half. It was about this same time that I noticed a car with a Bishop Black sticker in the Post Office employee parking lot (right next to the split tree). I believe it was Jawana’s car…. Which would validate my theory that I saw her driving a mail truck near my neighborhood last week. (Speaking of that, oddly, the Seinfeld was on last night where Krammer and Newman try to exchange a bunch of empty cans for money. LOL)

Ok, so I finally roll into work this morning. Who’s car do I see? You got it. CRAP. She never works on Wednesdays… thus I usually have a “low hygiene” day… don’t shave, don’t fix my hair etc. That, combined with this big A black stain on my pants does not make for the best appearance on my part. I emailed her asking if she was here, and she said she’s working today so she can be off on Friday and have a long weekend. So now I have to frickin’ avoid her all day.

In other news, I know this story is not my fault… after all the money I’ve spent there this year…. Maybe if they’d stop having 75% off sales. LOL

“Dillard's reported a net loss of $26 million, or 31 cents a share, for the quarter ended July 31, compared with a loss of $50.4 million, or 60 cents a share, for the same period a year ago. Revenue for the Little Rock, Ark.-based company was $1.73 billion vs. last year's $1.78 billion.

The 31-cent loss was nearly double what Wall Street expected. Analysts polled by Thomson First Call forecast a loss of 16 cents a share. That prompted Dillard's shares to fall $1.04, or 4.5 percent, to $22.04.

The company said its gross margin improved but it experienced a same-store sales drop of 3 percent during the quarter. Dillard's also said that it cut general expenses and interest expense during the period.”

Ok, back to work now.
