Too busy for anything

Things have been off the hook crazy lately. I've been slammed at work and had to work late (until 4 PM) on Monday and Tuesday. Also have a new marketing campaign underway for the video business, so that's taking up time as well.

Yesterday I met up with J-mo, Eric, Wendy, Kusi, and Lori for the Alter Bridge concert in Huntsville at the VBC South Hall. We had dinner at HOOTERS first. Heather was working and gave me the "What's up" routine. I forgot to ask where Katie was. Not that it matters.

The concert was pretty good. Ran into a couple people from the office. A lot of the Logan's staff was there. Andrea wanted a pic with the A-team (I guess we're just as famous as the former Creed band now)... so we did. I'll have to get that from her this weekend to post on here. Anyways, I finally rolled in around midnight... dead tired after standing for like 2.5 hours. Yes, standing. No seating. Then, I couldn't sleep becaue I was worried I wouldn't wake up and be late for work. But, I don't know why that was worrying me, since I haven't really been to work -on- time since my first 2 weeks as a new hire.

I learned today that, it turns out everyone in my office wants me to take this promotion/new job that I am supposedly about to be offered or something. That either means, they really have my best interest at heart, or they want me to get the *#@!out of their area. LOL Seriously, I will consider it, because my part of the Dept of Defense... has a zero budget after August 2004....

I stopped by Pride Home Entertainment today during lunch. I love that place. They have so much cool stuff there. I found a nice billiards table on sale for $2,400 that comes complete with a playing kit. That's tempting... if I had a place to put it. I also tried out more of those tempurpedic mattresses today. Those also run around $2,000. Something tells me I'd get more use out of that, than I would a pool table... but it is a tough call.
