Quite the exhausting day. My morning got started with a trip to the gym around 8:30 AM. Came home and ate 1/2 a Raspberry Pop Tart, a handful of Cheetos, and a glass of Orange Juice. Delicious and Nutritious!
Worked on music stuff most of the morning and then met Jawana up at Big Bob's BBQ for some lunch. She picked up the tab. Thanks sweetie!
I came home and finished up Larue's Drum Clinic video from December 2005 and then headed out to Point Mallard to film some of the church band playing. As noted in the audio blog, things were a little rough soundwise. I couldn't even hear J-mo's toms. They were non-existant in the mix. Too much overpowering bass, and the guitars seemed underpowered and thin or something. I dunno. It was weird.
After that I came home and watched part of the Dream Theater Budokan DVD and then passed out on the couch for a bit. Met up with Jeff at Wilson Morgan for some fun tennis. It was scorchin'. Got cleaned up and hooked up with Jawana and Shayla at Arby's. Wow she was lookin' hot tonight. She picked up the tab for dinner. Thanks baby!
As the pix below show, we went to the festival at Point Mallard tonight. Stopped in to see The Playboy, since he was working. Ran into other folks all around too. It was super messy out there because of the rain. Bummer. Kind of detracted from the overall fun factor, but still, I had a good time hanging out with Jawana and Shayla. I guess you could refer to this as our first family outing. lol Pix forthcoming when I get them... Oh thanks honey for picking up the food and ride tab at the festival too. No, I didn't lose my wallet or file for bankruptcy... I just have an awesome girlfriend!
Today was a great day.
Being with her, always makes it a great day for me.
It's 9:52 PM on a Saturday night, and I'm going to bed. Yep, I'm old.
