Lately, I've noticed I look forward to the weekend more and more. I wonder if this is what happens when you get older and are "nearing retirement age". I find myself thinking, "I don't want to work the rest of my life, why can't I just win the lotto?" and crazy things like that.
How great would it be, to have millions of dollars and not have to go to work every morning? I really do enjoy my job, but the prospect of being able to lay in bed until noon is extremely appealing.
I have always been a night person, and having to be at work at 7:00 AM is just wearing me out at the young age of 31. Despite the fact that I like my job and everyone I work with, I haven't gotten to work on time ... um... ever.
I'm like, "If people aren't waiting on me for a specific reason, I don't see any need to be there right at the start of the hour." You know? I get my work done, receive a lot of awards and recognition, so it's not like I'm a slacker, just very time independent as I like to call it.
Looks like it is nearly 11 PM and I've got to be up for work in a few hours. Hope everyone enjoys their weekend.
