Old Age Sucketh

It's been a while since I've blogged, but a lot has been going on! First of all, thanks to everyone who came out for my 32nd bday party Saturday Dec 30, 2006. We had 13 people show up at O'Charley's for a delicious meal and good times.

The next day, Jawana, Shayla, and I went to Nashville for New Years. Hung out with Dianna and Emily, then went to Shane and Melody's for a party, but ended up leaving at 11 PM and driving back to Alabama because we were all tired. (sign 1 of being old) So, once again, I was in a car and driving when the New Year was rung in. I think that makes it 3 of the past 5 years I've been in a car at midnight.

Thursday morning, I was getting ready for work and I leaned over to fix the part of the shoe where the heel goes in, and I tweaked my back. Sharp shooting pain! Ouch! I've been hobbling around like an 80 year old man since that day. Friday I went to Mike's Merchandise with Roger and they were selling bamboo canes for $0.75. I almost bought one. At first, it was going to be as a gag, but then I realized, wait, I actually need this.

It is hard for me to believe that we are already almost a week into 2007. Time is accelerating at an increasing rate everyday it seems. I am going to do my best to make this year better than last year. That's going to be tough, but I believe I can do it!
