Life is hard sometimes. A very dear friend of mine lost her husband in the iraq war on sunday. I've been trying to get a handle on what she's going through and feeling. After talking to her, I am amazed at her faith and trust in God during this time of extreme distress. She is strong and I know she will pull through and be ok. It made me question my own faith and commitment to God. Would i trust and be ok in knowing i lost my wife for a greater cause? Love is an interesting emotion. It is what gets us through the tough days. Yet sometimes it is what makes the days tough. While we may fight and disagree at times, i am beginning to realize that when you find someone who really loves you for who you for are and what you stand for... That is what life is all about. A lifetime companion. I believe we are not meant to be alone in our journies. I am so glad i have a girl in my life who loves me and i hope i can make her happy for the rest of her life! I am going to try my hardest!
