An Alien Hit My Fiance'

Blogging to you today from Krystal's on Madison Blvd in Madison, AL...

It's true. An illegal alien hit my baby on Saturday, July 21, 2007.

She was driving out of her subdivision in Hartselle, AL when a car backed out of a driveway at a yard sale and ran into her rear passenger side area. The guy never looked. Just pulled on out as if no one was around.

Fortunately, she wasn't hurt. The Hispanic driver attempted to leave the scene of the crime. She blocked him in so he couldn't get away. (It's a good thing I wasn't there because I would have gone Jeet-kun-do on his head and put him in the hospital for sure, under the auspices of, "I'll teach you and your kind to come into this country illegally.")

When the police arrived, there was nothing they could do. All they did was give the guy a ticket for not having insurance and let him go. He didn't have a driver's license. He didn't speak English. Hang on tight... here we go...

Every time I see something in the USA that is written in both English and then Spanish, it drives me nuts. I hope it drives you nuts too, because it is wrong. Bottom line, if you can't speak the language, and are not willing to learn it, go back where you came from. Pretty simple and easy.

There has been more and more buzz in the media about illegal aliens and now I see what everyone is talking about, and why it is imperative that we close our borders and get the 22 million illegal aliens out of the United States of America. I urge each of you to get on the bandwagon with me and help us take back our country from these illegal aliens who are doing us all severe harm.

What if he had run over one of the dozens of elementary age children that routinely ride bikes along the side walks in her subdivision? What would have happened to the guy when he drove off from the crime scene? Nothing. That's what.

This is why we need to start throwing these illegal aliens, who are mostly mexican it seems, back to where they came from.

I heard some blurb about how a group of illegal aliens is suing someone. How on earth can these illegal aliens sue, when they have no rights in this country? And, why would anyone even bother to pick up the case in the first place? Mindblowing!

If we don't get our act together as citizens of the United States of America, we are going to be in a world of hurt. The freakin' illegals get better treatment than we do.

Heck, who wouldn't want to just come over here, when you can commit crimes all day long and have nothing happen to you.

What is happening to our country for the love of Pete?

I know a lot of people have joined the minuteman forces and now protect our country and it's border along Mexico. Likewise last week I was in a meeting at work and I learned that we last week President Bush ordered some new activities along the border that involve some of the helicopters that our office supports for the US Army, so there is definately some action going on.

I urge you to write your senators and congressmen. Alabama has tremendous support from it's political officals in stopping this insanity with these illegal aliens. I hope you will do YOUR part as an American Citizen and help stop this.

Do not buy products made in Mexcio. If you have house work done, make sure and fire any contractors who bring in illegal aliens to do the work. I did. We fired several contractors who brought in illegal aliens to work on my house.

Let me know if you have any outrageous illegal alien stories.

We will be bringing forth our incident to the local and national media later today and the rest of this week.

Let's take back our country!

I've been in many a fight on this very topic.

I took Spanish in high school and double-majored in it in college: I lived in Spain for four months. I've studied the different hispanic cultures and have a pretty good grasp of why they come to the US.

That said... it's gone too far. There are plenty of resources to learn English. Plenty. If you are going to live in this country, you need to speak the language. I have always been willing to speak Spanish with people who are traveling here, as I can guarantee I didn't speak the language of every country I have visited and I depended on people helping me out. But I would never expect to move to a different country and not speak the language: that's ludicrous. If WE were to do it, everyone would say that as Americans, we were expecting special treatment.

However, just learning to speak English is only one of the steps. (And I don't know about Alabama, but I can tell you that a lot of places in Wisconsin offer classes for FREE for people to learn English: all they have to do is take the opportunity to learn it.)

What's worse isn't so much just the whole language issue, but the illegal issue. My ancestors came from other countries to the United States... but they did it the legal way. They waited in lines at Ellis Island, they worked hard to get their citizenship. There is no excuse for just handing that out to all of these people who think they should have that right just to be here because American is the land of opportunity.

Furthermore, if we simply grant citizenship to all of these individuals who are ILLEGAL, what does that say to the people who have tried to immigrate legally??? I'm not saying that our current system on how to become a legal immigrant is right, I think some changes need to be made, but I am sure that simply letting of these illegals magically change to legals isn't the answer.

One of the biggest problems with the Mexicans (and this isn't even going to touch any of the other illegal alien groups) is that many of them wait until just before they have children, hop the border, and we have to give them care. Once they have their child, he or she is a United States citizen. Thus, the parents end up getting to stay because of their children. Um, no. I think it's time to say, "Your child is a US citizen. He may stay. You, however, have to go back to Mexico. Don't like that arrangement? Then take you kid back with you. Either way: you're going back." It might sound a little heartless, but family is so important to them that very few kids would ever get left behind.

OK, I think I'm done with this rant... or I better be before I get started on all of their "organized protests" from last year and the whole Mexican flag situation: if I do, I might be commenting for awhile. Good luck with taking your incident to the media.

I have to disagree with you there. I read "sob stories" in the paper all the time about the Mexican women who illegally cross the border into the U.S. and live & work here but send money home to their young children who they haven't seen for five years (or ten, or more), and we're supposed to feel sorry for them? Uh uh. If you miss your family, go back to them. If you think America is so great then work on improving your own country to make it more like the U.S.A.

I see all these mexicans waving mexican flags, screaming national pride. If so many of you love your old country so much, why are you here and not there?
