29 on the 405

Blogging to you this evening from my suite overlooking the pool...

My friends, I have truly lived. I have driven the 405 from LA to Jeremy's city, 29 miles away, and survived!

Going to his workplace, at the McArthur Master's College, it took me 1.5 hours to go 29 miles in rush hour traffic. It's a wonder that there aren't more cases of road rage out here. I could not remain sane if I lived out here and had to deal with that everyday. I don't see how people do it. Coming back tonight at 8:15 PM, it wall to wall traffic across lanes in both directions. Eight of which were going South with me. So yes, that's 16 total lanes of traffic! Insanity!

The big news of the day is, I found some talk radio worth listening too: Dr. Laura, and then tonight Michael Savage, and then Coast to Coast AM, Bone and I's favorite late night talk show! I learned today from Michael that there are terrorist traning camps in Conner (?) Georgia, and that young black men are being recruited and brainwashed into killing machines for the radical Islamists. They are being told that there is no real devil, but rather the white man is the devil, and he must be killed and destroyed at any cost. My friends, keep on the look out for these radical extremists. Arm yourselves. Trust me. It's gonna get ugly before it's over. Check out the pictures of the terrorist training camps in America. Terrorist Training Camps in the United States

In other news, Jeremy took me to a steak house tonight, where I tried Tri-tip for the first time. It was absolutely delicious. I also had BBQ chicken, Garlic Mashed Potatos, and Caesar salad. I realized that after my trip last week to Corpus Christi, I ate too cheap. $37 over 4 days. I'm trying to loosen up a little and enjoy this trip.

The pastor's message on Sunday was about death. And, it really made me question where I am spiritually, and where I need to be. Likewise, the other half of the message was, you are only given the present day. Live it to it's fullest! I'm trying new things this week, and getting back to living. It seems like I've kind of drifted away from my old fun and explorative self. I'm working on that. More trips, more travels, more new stuff, more new experiences!

Ok, I'm not sure why I'im out here for work. I did my part today by eating Krispy Kreme donuts and surfing the net on my phone most of the day. That's all I've done all week. This has been an awesome vacation. I'm glad this isn't costing me anything. lol

Looks like it's about bedtime. Until next time...

I used to drive 20 miles to work and then back on the 405 every day so I know how bad traffic is.
