a woman's place is in the home. The closer I get to being married, the clearer it becomes as to why the woman should be at home. The reasons are about endless:
1) Cooking meals
2) Cleaning house (mopping, vaccuming, dishes etc)
3) Laundry
4) Dusting
5) Organizing everything
6) Ferrying the kids to school
7) Helping the kids with the homework
8) Ferrying the kids to activities
No doubt, Stay At Home Moms (SAHMs) have the toughest job on the planet. Everyone that came to the party yesterday said being a SAHM was the best decision they ever made. I know Jawana is ready to leave her job, and am looking forward to seeing her transition into the role of a SAHM!
Speaking of the party, we had a good turnout at our first wedding shower. 27 people having fun and enjoying NASCAR on our 60" HDTV w/ surround. Can't beat it with a stick. lol Thanks to everyone who came! Our next shower is Nov 4 at 12:30, right after church. Target and Bed, Bath & Beyone were our choices or registries. Down with Wal-Mart! We hate that place!
Guess I'd better get back to work. I'm sitting here listening to Dave Ramsey online, getting my daily inspiration. Oh, that was something else, several people commented on my "house rules" and "paths to success" posters I have hanging in the kitchen. Which of course, led into a Dave Ramsey discussion. I love it!
