What do you get,

When you have me, a laptop, and the sunday paper coupon section? You get a detailed microsoft excel spreadsheet showing who has the best deals on items we need, PLUS, applicable coupons. What once would be a $100 trip, can now be half as much by planning, shopping sales, changing brands, and using coupons. Now that is awesome right there! Ok, back to coupon clipping!

Money Stuff

In the summer of 2000, I began listening to Dave Ramsey. My new years resolution for 2003 was to stop using credit cards, even though I paid off the balance every month. Obviously it took me a couple years to buy into Dave's philosophy. In 2007 I got marred and made my wife get rid of all her credit cards too.

In March 2011, we paid off our house which was the last of our debts, and determined that we had paid off right at $250,000 of debt in 48 months.

It's now August 2013, and let me tell you, LIFE IS SWEET with no payments on anything. If you need more info on the plan, look up Dave Ramsey and do exactly what he says.
