Cold and rainy in Dallas today.

I am stuck at the airport. Check out the low visibility. I am not a real big fan of flying and being away from home and my wife, but right now and for the next 2 years, we need the supplmentary per diem income to help get us out of debt. Live like no one else, so later, you can live like no one else!

Money Stuff

In the summer of 2000, I began listening to Dave Ramsey. My new years resolution for 2003 was to stop using credit cards, even though I paid off the balance every month. Obviously it took me a couple years to buy into Dave's philosophy. In 2007 I got marred and made my wife get rid of all her credit cards too.

In March 2011, we paid off our house which was the last of our debts, and determined that we had paid off right at $250,000 of debt in 48 months.

It's now August 2013, and let me tell you, LIFE IS SWEET with no payments on anything. If you need more info on the plan, look up Dave Ramsey and do exactly what he says.
