Camping and fun times!

Things have been so busy here lately. (Story of our lives huh?) Last Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, we went camping at Camp McDowell in the Bankhead Forest area. Wow! I had so much fun! We did everything from learning how to read a compass to canoeing! Yes, Canoeing! and it was practically snowing outside! Everyday, I wore the same thing, 5 shirts and 3 pairs of pants. I looked like the Stay Puft Marshmallow man for the love of Pete!

Really though, it was so good to get back to nature, and away from all the high tech gadgetry of our everyday lives. My favorite part was all the hiking. The canoeing thing went surprisingly well, and the best part was, we didn't fall in!

There has been so much death around me lately, that it has really made me focus on more family time and time with friends.

I switched my work schedule to allow more of this, and yesterday, I had lunch with Jawana, Bunny, and Shane. We had a good time kickin' back on the river and enjoying a break from everything. Looking forward to more of that.

It's only 2 weeks until we go to Miamai for spring break, so today, I started working out, and plan to work out everyday until we leave so I can get buff! I'm back on Creatine and Myoplex for this last minute push. Now I'm sitting at McAlister's but should probably get back to the office. So I'm signing off for now. Until next time friends....

Um..."back" to nature? Did you do stuff like hiking and camping BEFORE I met you back in 2002? Heh...

All that Creatine and Myoplex...you should be like...Kyle Ferrigno...or something by now.

Seriously, glad things are going well with you guys... Miss having you playing with us onstage, though (that's not a guilt-trip or anything, just a statement of fact...). The church is really getting some energy now...had around 100 people in almost every service for the past month or so and growing (and that's not counting KidZone). A LOT of new faces...

Good to hear about the church. We may pop in for a visit one day.

I've been working out so much I can barely fit through door frames, my lats are so wide. V-tapes baby!
