Monday was my day off so it was spent cleaning house a bit. Fun huh.
Tuesday I went back to work and was hit with a ton of work. No surprise there.
Today, we had a going away lunch for one of our assistants who got a promotion to a new office. At lunch, I was sitting between two women who recently had babies. So, the whole time, I got to hear about breastfeeding. Lovely lunch conversation!
I also enjoyed how one person taught their kids to call them, "bobs" instead of "boobs" so when they were in public, it would prevent any sort of inappropriate comments. I was thinking, "this boy is going to hate you when he gets about 5 years older and all the other kids are calling them "boobs" and he's calling them "bobs". You know the other kids are going to beat him like a slow mule.
Also this week, we think we have Jawana's house sold. I really hope this goes through. We are meeting with the lawyer tomorrow morning. If it sells, we will be able to pay off her mortgage(obviously), her car, a couple other bills, and then put a huge chunk on our current mortgage. We are really working aggressively on getting out of debt. Being debt free is the only way anyone is going to survive the coming financial storm.
The whole upcoming presidential election thing is really starting to get like crazy.
With all the recent things about Obama, he is definately not a good candidate for president. Not to mention, he hasn't outlined a single thing yet.
Hillary, well there is no way anyone in their right mind would vote for her. Obviously. Anyone with a middle school education can look at what socialized healthcare has done to Canada and countries in Europe and see this is not how we want America to go.
McCain... he looks like an alien. Plus, I don't think he's really as strong on immigration as he says.
Looks like we are batting 0 for 3 this time...
