Trying to eat healthier.

The any picture looks so delicious and tasty. However, to my non surprise, taste is lacking. Looks like It's back to microwave hamburger helper, i really need to add one or two more tasty items i can make at work using my 2 shelf toaster oven and the microwave that tastes good. I know the got pockets calzone is good, but not very healthy. If you have any ideas, please share!

Oh you picked a great topic! One near and dear to my heart as I ate these things like daily last summer. Some are better than others as far as flavor goes: the Lean Cuisine Lasagna is good, as is the sweet and sour chicken.

Go for the lean cuisine paninis. They have more calories and fat grams than the dish you selected here, but are still healthy. Ditto the pizzas.

Also, I highly recommend the Healthy Choice Steamers. They have more flavor I think than most of the lean cuisine line, and they seem a "bit" fresher. The one that is like beef stew (the name eludes me right now: something like whiskey?) is good, as is the margherita. Those are my two faves.

Finally, Lean Pockets. The Chicken Quesadilla is soooo good. It's actually a little spicy, which is totally what I want. Makes you forget it's "diet" food you know?

Hope these help!

I meant to add too, the Healthy Choice Steamers came out with a new Asian Inspired line featuring General Tso's, Sesame Chicken and a couple other flavors. I've tried two or three of these and I liked a couple. The ones I didn't like were only because I don't like mushrooms and I didn't realize it had mushrooms in it until I was already eating it. But again, these have a little more flavor than the typical bland ones, so they might be something to consider too.

PLUS, I can usually find coupons for these and my grocery store gives them out for the Lean Cuisine meals. It helps save a bit of money anyway, which I figure is always a benefit, especially on the healthy food.

One more thing you might be interested in (Sorry, I will probably just randomly think of these: I should have made a list then commented, huh?): Bird's Eye Steamfresh veggies has individual packets of frozen veggies that you can microwave. I know for sure they have corn, peas and brussel sprouts (though shockingly, I have never seen the brussel sprouts sold out - hmm) and they were talking about coming out with more. They cost more than regular veggies because of the convenience factors, but veggies don't always reheat so well, so it might be worth it to consider them.
