Only a baby could be calm and sleep at Wal Mart. I just saw a hispanic guy with dirty feet trying on house sandals in Decatur's Wal Mart. Yikes! Nasty!
I was wearing sandals the other week while out shopping with the wife. In one department store I thought I'd take a look at some new shoes, but I wasn't wearing socks.
I did not try on shoes in bare feet, I grabbed a pair of those little, flimsy foot-stockings they have for the women, and I put a pair of them on.
Now that I think about, I really hope nobody else had worn the same pair then put them back in the box with all the clean ones.
Capn John: You can tell if those things have been used before. They stretch soooo much with just one use, so when you pulled it out of the box it would have pretty much been big enough to fit right on your feet. I'm sure you were fine... unless you now realize it was big enough, in which case... sorry!

Makes you a bit jealous of the lil guy, huh? :)

I've had to use those flimsy sock stocking things before at Shoe Carnival...
Going to wal-mart is my least favorite activity.
