Friday, met up at Jon’s house and headed to The Brick for Billiards. Then cruised over to Logan’s for some food. We sat at a huge table and made two new friends. Went back to Jon’s house and watched part of a FRIENDS dvd.
Saturday morning came early as Jeff and I headed to Nashville for food and billiards. Ate at famous Dave’s and then headed to Buffalo Billiards. There was apparently a Harley rally, as noted in Jeff’s blog.

J-mo has no food
Headed out 1.5 hours late from Shane’s house at 4:30 PM and drove to Memphis for the Viper’s game. They ended up losing. Left Memphis at 10:00 PM. Ran into Kelly there and she wanted us to come back to Tunica with her and hang out, but I declined since I had to be at church at 9:00 AM.
Got back to Decatur at 3:48 AM and went straight to bed. Woke up at 8:45 AM and got ready for church. Everything went pretty smoothly. Headed to Logan’s for lunch, oddly. Jon got his order messed up, so it was on the house. We’ve gotten a lot of free food out of them in the past 2 weeks. I came home and took a 3.5 hour nap, then went back to Kevin’s at 6:30 where we all played video games and ate pizza for like 4 hours.
Yesterday was spent in meetings. Met Jon for lunch at Sakkio, and we ran into some friends of his. Walked the mall and came back to work. Went to the gym and did chest and back, and then hit up the mall for some food. Came home and worked on a wedding video until 9:30, then did guitar for an hour and went to bed.
Found out this morning that some friends of mine are moving to gulf shores. That rules. I guess, even though I haven’t been down there in 2 years. WOW that sucks. During dinner last night, we all talked about a beach trip. Looks like a trip to Destin is now on tap for August. I’m looking forward to that! Gotta start working on my base tan asap.
This morning I was awakened at my desk by a fire drill at 10:00 AM… just as I had dozed off into a light sleep. LOL Crappy. I’m having to review one of our maintenance manuals that is 1200 pages for OCR scanning errors. I get quite tired as a result, so I get a good bit of nap time at the office when I do this procedure.
Another thing I like about being out here is, their summer hire program. There are like cute girls working all over the place, and their presence was manifested in full effect today during the fire drill. Nice.
It’s lunch time, so I’m gonna go hit up Robert’s Lighting Store on Univ Drive. They supposedly have some of the coolest, hottest, neatest household lighting stuff around. Also gotta look at window treatments sometime.
