Is that a baby on the floor?

Yes, it is.

Last night, the shoot went very well overall. We had a few technical hickups at the beginning, but worked through them. The show lasted from 7:00-10:00 and we hit up Cracker Barrel after that. Got to my house around 11:45 PM, and Shane ended up staying till 3:00 AM as we worked on transferring files. I managed to get in bed around 3:30 AM.

I'll tell you what, those girls in those beauty pageants sure can wear some fake smiles. You know what I'm talking about?... those crazy, show an insane amount of white teeth constantly, smiles. I just find that annoying. LOL

This morning... woke up at 8:45 and went to church. Things went fairly smoothly and had another large turnout, although not as large as last week. If some of the usual attenders would have been there, it would have been pretty full though.

After that went to Logan's. Ran into Wes there. The cute hostess girl, who's name I think is like Amanada or Amber or something was telling me all about how guys were hitting on her last night and I'm just like, "Well no wonder, you're a very pretty girl" Duh. LOL

Anyways, lunch was good and Kevin's food was waaay late coming out, so the manager gave him his food free, and all of us dessert on the house. So that's like the 4th time we've been screwed at Logan's... but they make up for it.

It was around this time that we heard a loud crashing and "thud" sound and Kailyn had somehow managed to topple out of her baby chair onto the peanut encrusted floor. This was almost instantaneously followed up with LOUD crying noises. Wow it was loud. She was ok though, I think more scared and confused than anything else. No blood was drawn.

Ran home for abit after that and as I was heading back up to church for band practice, I ran into the girl who's name I can't remember from Logan's at a stop sign by my house. That was weird.

Practice went pretty well for not using any music. Now I'm home for a while and am going to take a nap I think.

Pictures for your enjoyment

  1. Michael Jackson's Neverland Sleepaway camp, "A Touching Experience"... the sign says, "Come pet the monkey"
  2. The Doggie Doo T-shirt. For some reason I found this more entertaining than I probably should have... although I can immediately think of 4 other people who are laughing their heads off as they read this
  3. Last night after the junior miss competition... we are at Cracker Barrell working until after 11:30 PM.
  4. My free dessert from today. Thanks to J-mo for holding up the quarter as a scale reference.

I think the kid falling in the floor thing is common there because Jeff and I went there last week and this little boy fell out of his booster seat next to us. The seats are too small, glad she wasn't hurt to bad though. =)

Well there is a strap on the bottom of those seats that is supposed to be tied around the bottom of the chair it sits on top of (we and the waiter hypothesized)....

Man that's a lawsuit waiting to happen right there if that's the case.
