I hear a lot of people complaining and whining about not having a job, or not being able to get a job etc.
My question to them is, "What are you doing about it?"
Sitting at home, whining and complaining does not accomplish anything. If you find yourself with out a job what you need to be doing is (1) using every means possibile to get one, (2) if that fails, sereiously consider moving.
In regards to (2), today new construction begins on a massive $1 Billion complex in Huntsville Alabama that is estimated to bring some 15,000 jobs to the area. When you combine nearly 5,000 jobs resulting from BRAC, that's 20,000 jobs coming to North Alabama in the next few years. Additionally, this area has not been affected really by the recession. There are still tons of jobs to be had in this area.
Move here! The cost of living is incredibly low. Overall schools are good. It's a nice area and close to major cities like Birminghan, Nashville and Atlanta.
The other day Obama said we are in "recovery summer". How are things looking where you live? Everything is awesome here!
